Sherman Garden Party

Please join Sherman’s Green Schoolyard Committee at our 2nd annual Sherman Garden Party on Saturday, May 9, 10 am–3 pm.

We welcome families, neighbors, and all kids to the celebration featuring a live trash fashion show, drums, DJ, poetry slam, hip hop, fod, cook-off, herbal salve-making, eco-carnival booth, and more.

Those of you wondering why you did not get a spot on a school from your waitlist which now seems to have openings, we were at EPC yesterday (and today) and this is why. The open spots are for kids speaking the language being offered. eg sutro CB has open spots for cantonese speakers.

@11:18am, I think the EPC was being unclear when they told you that.

The Chinese bilingual (CB) programs are specifically for Cantonese-speaking kids who need to learn English.

You'll want to look at numbers for a general education (GE) program or an immersion program.
