Trolls on the SF K Files
The SF K Files has long had a problem with trolls but the issue has become increasingly worse and gotten out of hand. We've temporarily removed the Community so we can spend some time deleting certain inappropriate threads. Also, if you have any thoughts on how we can deal with trolls and bring this site back to the thoughtful, supportive community it once was please share your thoughts. Any comments in this thread that don't focus on how to deal with trolls and on the future of this site will be deleted. Thank you.

This blog was such a great source of information for parents when it began, but has indeed been hijacked by other discussions that are less focused on that topic.
Let those who want to discuss the perfidy of SFUSD start their own blog. It's a perfectly valid topic. But perhaps not so useful for those with 4-year-olds trying to figure out how to find a school for them.

Thanks Kate. Being one of the featured bloggers this year, I find myself hesitating to post sometimes due to the comments and viciousness of some of the posters. We're all here to find a good education for our children.
I'm so sorry that this has happened. I do try to ignore the posts not related to the topic.
This site and feedback have been so helpful to me while I tour schools. I hope things can get back on track.
